FAQs — The Afterparty Co.

Question 1

What does The Afterparty Co. do?

Accepted Answer

We provide during-event tidying and post-event cleanup for private celebrations at homes and small rented venues throughout the Atlanta area. Our goal is to help you enjoy your event without worrying about the mess.

Question 2

What types of events do you service?

Accepted Answer

We specialize in birthday parties, baby showers, bridal showers, graduation parties, dinner parties, engagement celebrations, backyard gatherings, holiday parties, and intimate private events.

Question 3

Do you clean private homes and rented venues?

Accepted Answer

Yes! We service designated event areas in private residences, apartment clubhouses, and small rented event spaces. We review each venue's requirements before confirming a booking.

Question 4

Do you offer regular housecleaning?

Accepted Answer

No. We specialize in event-related cleanup, not recurring residential cleaning or whole-home deep cleaning.

Question 5

Will there be a cleaning team?

Accepted Answer

Currently, all services are personally handled by one dedicated attendant. This allows us to provide thoughtful, personalized service. Larger events requiring multiple attendants are not currently offered.

Question 6

What is included in each package?

Accepted Answer

The Tidy Touch (starting at $150) covers 3 hours of during-event tidying for up to 25 guests in one designated event area. The Clean Sweep (starting at $175) covers up to 3 hours of post-event cleanup for up to 30 guests in two connected event areas. The Full Reset (starting at $300) includes 3 hours of during-event support plus 2 hours of post-event cleanup for up to 30 guests. The Grand Finale (starting at $425) includes 4 hours of during-event support plus 3 hours of post-event cleanup for up to 40 guests. All packages include one attendant. Final pricing depends on the event's size, location, and cleanup requirements.

Question 7

What is the difference between during-event and after-event cleanup?

Accepted Answer

During-event cleanup focuses on maintaining a tidy environment while guests are present — collecting disposable items, wiping spills, and managing trash. After-event cleanup begins once the celebration has ended and focuses on restoring the agreed-upon event areas.

Question 8

Can I customize a package?

Accepted Answer

Absolutely! Let us know what you need when requesting a quote. Additional services and time can be added when available.

Question 9

Are the package prices final?

Accepted Answer

Our advertised prices are starting rates for standard, light-to-moderate event cleanup. Your final quote will reflect your guest count, service hours, location, cleanup areas, and any requested add-ons. All charges will be disclosed before booking.

Question 10

What additional services are available?

Accepted Answer

Add-ons include: extra cleanup time ($55/hr), light dishwashing or dishwasher loading ($35), disposable decoration breakdown ($35), additional restroom cleanup ($25), late-night service after 10 PM ($40 additional), extended travel outside our standard service area (custom quote), additional cleanup areas (custom quote), and heavy cleanup beyond the agreed scope (custom quote). Add-ons are subject to availability and must be approved before work begins.

Question 11

Is dishwashing included?

Accepted Answer

No. Standard packages include collecting and organizing reusable dishes in a designated area. Light dishwashing or dishwasher loading can be added starting at $35. Large quantities of dishes, delicate items, and extensive kitchen cleaning are not included.

Question 12

Do you take down decorations?

Accepted Answer

Light collection of disposable decorations is included in The Grand Finale. Additional decoration breakdown starts at $35. We do not dismantle complex installations, balloon arches attached to structures, electrical decorations, or equipment requiring ladders or special tools.

Question 13

Do you clean bathrooms?

Accepted Answer

During-event packages include light restroom refresh checks, such as wiping visible spills and restocking client-provided supplies. More extensive restroom cleaning starts at an additional $25 per restroom, subject to the agreed scope.

Question 14

What if my event runs longer than expected?

Accepted Answer

Additional service time is $55 per hour, subject to availability and approval. We cannot guarantee extensions beyond your scheduled booking.

Question 15

Is there an additional charge for late-night events?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Services scheduled to continue after 10 PM may incur a $40 late-night surcharge, which will be included in your quote.

Question 16

Do you charge for travel?

Accepted Answer

Travel within our standard Atlanta-area service zone is generally included in the quoted package price. Locations farther away, requiring extensive travel, or involving significant parking or access costs may incur an additional charge. Any applicable fees will be disclosed in advance.

Question 17

Are parking fees included?

Accepted Answer

Complimentary parking or reasonable on-site parking access should be available whenever possible. Paid parking, valet, or venue access fees may be added to the quote when applicable.

Question 18

What if I have more guests than the package allows?

Accepted Answer

Let us know your expected guest count when requesting a quote. Events exceeding package limits require an individual assessment and may need additional service time. We may decline events that cannot be safely managed by one attendant.

Question 19

What if the cleanup takes longer than the scheduled hours?

Accepted Answer

We'll prioritize the agreed-upon tasks within your booked time. Additional work requires your approval and may involve extra charges. Completion of tasks outside the original scope or time allowance is not guaranteed.

Accepted Answer

No. Your date is secured only after your service agreement is signed and your required deposit is received.

Question 22

Is a deposit required?

Accepted Answer

Accepted Answer

Your final payment due date will be provided in your quote and service agreement before you book.

Question 25

Can I change my package after booking?

Accepted Answer

Changes may be possible depending on availability and the revised scope of work. Additional services, guest count increases, or extended hours may change your final price.

Question 26

What is your cancellation policy?

Accepted Answer

Accepted Answer

Same-day and last-minute requests are not guaranteed and depend on scheduling and the scope of cleanup.

Accepted Answer

Yes, provided the event size, cleanup requirements, and available time are suitable for one attendant.

Accepted Answer

Small adjustments may be discussed in advance, but extensive furniture rearrangement, stacking chairs, and breakdown of rental equipment are not standard services.

Question 46
